DESCRIPTION:The Kansas Energy Program at Kansas State University\, the Kansas Corporation Commission\, and Stanion Electric are hosting an LED lighting workshop in Manhattan\, Kansas on Thursday\, May 17\, 2018\, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Topics will include a look at LED trends and common challenges one might encounter during a lighting retrofit. Come visit with vendors and experience hands-on demonstrations. There is a $25 registration fee to cover parking and food. \nThis workshop is perfect for superintendents\, city managers\, facility managers\, and energy managers at K-12 schools\, colleges\, universities\, municipal buildings\, and commercial and industrial facilities. This workshop is intended for facilities considering a lighting retrofit to LED or those interested in the field of lighting. Professional development hours are available for professional engineers and certified energy managers.
